Art and fashion. Both disciplines have been intertwined since the 19th century. Based on focal points of the Heidi Horten Collection - the image of women and the view of women - LOOK shows art and fashion in an inspiring interplay. The spectrum ranges from the Rococo to the present, from glamorous divas, modern women of the avant-garde, subtle portraits and psychologizing depictions of femininity to accessories with a fetish character and nude portraits to feminist counter-positions. All works belonged to the direct environment of the collector and reveal individual inclinations throughout. LOOK is therefore above all as a homage to the museum's founder, Heidi Horten
