Quiz night at the Beethoven

For many years an indispensable part of evening entertainment in England and in pubs around the world has been: the Pub Quiz! We host a quiz where the guests of the evening join together in teams (4-6 people) and answer 20 challenging questions from all areas of knowledge (German & English).

The entry fee per guest is 6 Euros which goes into the jackpot. The winning team of the evening receives a prize and the team that answers all 20 questions correctly wins the jackpot.
In October 2014, Hotel Beethoven launched the first hotel pub quiz of its kind in Vienna delivering incredibly tough and humorous questions. During the Quiz, culinary delights and drinks are served a la carte from our Bistro.

Beethoven's Salon Concerts

Music belongs to Vienna as music belongs to Beethoven. We love this tradition and organize concerts every weekend with chamber music at the highest level, featuring none other than, Viennese classics.
Michael Babytsch on cello and Pavlo Kachnov on the piano are highly talented musicians who present works by Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven and other famous composers.
A complimentary glass of champagne is served during intermission. By the way, our Bösendorfer grand piano used to belong to Ms. Ludwig’s mother Sissy, a great pianist.
Enjoy a relaxed intimate evening. All hotels guests are welcome.

This was my second stay at Hotel Beethoven. It’s a lovely, quirky hotel, right in the city centre but in a quiet side street. It’s a perfect location for sightseeing and you can walk to most places easily. The rooms are quiet and comfortable with lovely bathrooms and the staff are friendly and helpful. A welcome touch for a weary tourist is the daily free tea, coffee and cake served every afternoon in the lounge area. I highly recommend this hotel.

This is a solid hotel offering in a perfect location. I am used to business hotels so I was disappointed that there was no one to help with luggage and that the hotel has one small elevator that half of the time was taken by housekeeping staff and we had to wait further. On the plus side, the location is exceptional, the breakfast was exceptional, the front desk staff was exceptional especially in making dinner recommendations and reservations. The room was of average size but well laid out (junior suite). I would recommend this hotel for travellers on budget as an exceptional choice in Vienna but I would probably pick a higher star hotel next time. It really seemed to me as a 3 star hotel not 4 star hotel.

I recently stayed at Hotel Beethoven, and I was thoroughly impressed with every aspect of my visit. Staff members were very welcoming and polite. The atmosphere was incredibly calm and relaxing, making it the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle. The location was ideal, conveniently situated near metro station, Naschmarkt, a 10 minutes walk to Vienna State Opera and about 20 minutes to St. Stephen's Cathedral, which made exploring the area easy and enjoyable. The amenities offered everything I needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The breakfast was another highlight, with a great selection of fresh and delicious options to start the day. What truly sets this hotel apart is its unique vibe and quirky charm. It has a character all its own, which made the experience even more memorable. I’ll definitely be returning and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a special place to stay!

Literally flew in 1 night for festival and needed somewhere chilled to stay this hotel delivers perfectly down a quiet side road but less than 50 yds to a buzzing foodie street market and a gently stroll upto the bustling ol town it was a perfect location the hotel itself whilst having all mod cons maintains its old Vienna vibe and our room was large cool - which was appreciated as the days we were there it was 33 degrees - and very comfortable staff were great and although we did not take advantage of their bar it had very sophisticated cool vibe we would definitely recommend Hotel Beethoven and would choose it again if we next visit the beautiful city of Vienna C & L

An excellent hotel in every way. Location was perfect, next to the Naschtmarkt and within walking distance of the centre of town. The room was cosy but modern and well appointed. The breakfasts were delicious and plentiful but the best thing about the hotel was the staff who were very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. We would not hesitate to recommend the Hotel Beethoven Wien. PS Leopoldo the dog was beautiful too!

Stayed at Hotel Beethoven in October - my second time staying in this delightful hotel and hopefully not the last. Very conveniently located - close to museums, music venues, and restaurants, but tucked sufficiently back from main roads to ensure nighttime quiet. The rooms are cleverly and attractively furnished, with comfortable beds and nice bathrooms. Staff are always cordial and happy to help guests with recommendations, directions, etc. An excellent and cost-effective choice when staying in Vienna. I will be back!

This charming hotel was perfect for our 6 night stay in Vienna. The artistic-themed rooms were unique and lovely. The location is central enough that we could walk to just about every museum and site we wanted to see, with a few exceptions. The staff were very friendly and accomodating. We ate the hotel breakfast one morning and found it to be abundant and delicious. I highly recommend Hotel Beethoven and we will stay there again on our next visit to Vienna.

Hotel Beethoven is unlike any place I've ever stayed. It exists to celebrate the city and culture of Vienna while showcasing music, art, and history. Each floor has a dedicated theme related to the history of the city, and each room is dedicated to a person or aspect of that theme. Each room is thoughtfully curated and individualized based on that particular aspect, including choices related to furniture, art, etc. The staff is amazing. They are excellent and wonderful at what they do, from the breakfast staff to the front desk to the bartenders. They offer chamber music concerts along the mezzanine. The cocktail bar is incredible. The location is right down the street from the Secession. Think about it: Klimt's Beethoven friezes are down the road from you. And the nashmarket is across the street. I'd live there if I could.

I stayed at the heart of Vienna, within a walking distant to Musikverein and other places that constitute the hear of Viennese historic culture. The hotel is really close to the subway station, too. The hotel itself is a hidden jewel of Vienna. It is in the European old building, which shut out the noise really well, and the interior is renovated with the amenities that show the care of the owner. Above all things, the hotel has its own mini classic concerts with the musicians who played with a real heart! I had truly a wonderful stay at Hotel Beethoven, and you will, too!

This is a wonderfully convenient place to stay in Vienna. It is within walking distance of most of the key cultural attractions and the Naschmarkt, but it is also in a very quiet location. It is also a good value, as Vienna is quite an expensive and glamorous city. The staff are very helpful, and the breakfast is quite good. A good value.

The staff is extraordinary: extremely kind and helpful, way beyond the call of duty. The hotel is not enormous, so it feels like there is always help for whatever issues come up with traveling. The hotel is also very nice, and one feels, for Americans, like one is 'old Europe', while still having modern amenities. It is on a quiet street. Highly recommended.

We had the best stay. It was so close to transportation, shopping and eating. The staff were wonderful during our whole stay. Greeted every morning in the breakfast room and every time we exited or entered the building by the front desk staff. The rooms were kept very clean during our stay. Thank you for an absolutely fantastic stay at the Hotel Beethoven, Vienna. The location of the hotel is brilliant. It is within walking distance of many of the main sights. There is a wonderful atmosphere in the hotel, which exudes quality. The room we stayed in was super tasteful and well furnished. The breakfast was really delicious and you could have everything your heart desires. But most of all the staff are really nice and helpful and made us feel welcome the moment we walked in the door and throughout our stay. We will definitely use Hotel Beethoven the next time we visit Vienna and we will look forward to it.

This is such a great hotel. Very comfortable spacious room and super helpful and friendly staff. Great location , 2 stops on the underground from the station and within walking distance of all the fabulous museums and art galleries that make Vienna such a great place to visit
