The culturally committed Ludwig family, who own the hotel, sponsor numerous Viennese cultural institutions, such as the Albertina, the Mumok and the Musikverein and inspire Vienna aficionados to special cultural delights: invitations to previews, exhibition openings, museum visits and preferential ticket orders at the Musikverein.
Quiz night at the Beethoven
For many years an indispensable part of evening entertainment in England and in pubs around the world has been: the Pub Quiz! We host a quiz where the guests of the evening join together in teams (4-6 people) and answer 20 challenging questions from all areas of knowledge (German & English).
The entry fee per guest is 6 Euros which goes into the jackpot. The winning team of the evening receives a prize and the team that answers all 20 questions correctly wins the jackpot.
In October 2014, Hotel Beethoven launched the first hotel pub quiz of its kind in Vienna delivering incredibly tough and humorous questions. During the Quiz, culinary delights and drinks are served a la carte from our Bistro.

Beethoven's Salon Concerts
Music belongs to Vienna as music belongs to Beethoven. We love this tradition and organize concerts every weekend with chamber music at the highest level, featuring none other than, Viennese classics.
Michael Babytsch on cello and Pavlo Kachnov on the piano are highly talented musicians who present works by Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven and other famous composers.
A complimentary glass of champagne is served during intermission. By the way, our Bösendorfer grand piano used to belong to Ms. Ludwig’s mother Sissy, a great pianist.
Enjoy a relaxed intimate evening. All hotels guests are welcome.
