Wiener Festwochen

The Wiener Festwochen transform Vienna into a festival zone, as the 165 performances take place at 20 different venues - from the Parliament to the Porgy & Bess jazz club. The festival of contemporary arts will take place from 12 May to 21 June 2023. The Wiener Festwochen will present 36 productions - all international works from theatre, opera, music, dance, performance and visual arts. Among them are no less than eight world premieres and a lavish new production (Alban Berg's "Lulu"). For the opening, a brilliant open air event will take place on Rathausplatz.
