20-Oct-2025Customer rating:My wife and I had a wonderful, relaxing stay at this superbly located hotel in Vienna. The bilingual staff were quite helpful, the room was ample in size, clean, with a comfortable bed, and located in a quiet niche so sleep was excellent. The breakfasts were nicely prepared and their own particular brand of nuts that they stock in the room was quite tasty. The guest lounge on the "M" floor (which hosts lovely Sunday afternoon classical music concerts) is always stocked with coffee and cookies for guests. The Naschmarkt is only a minute from the hotel door and many other attractions (museums, concerts, cafes, restaurants, shops) were within 15 minutes walking distance of the hotel. Finally, the cost of staying here was quite reasonable - it actually cost us MORE money to stay at a similar boutique hotel in Munich for THREE days than it did to stay at Hotel Beethoven in Vienna for SEVEN! In short, I highly recommend this hotel and their services.

It is within walking distance of so many major attractions, as well as public transportation for when you need to travel farther.. The staff is warm and welcoming, very accommodating and very helpful. If we return to Vienna, we would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend.

Good storage. All very carefully thought out. Colourful with lovely artwork. Public areas are so full of character & have a lovely ambience. All day complementary tea coffee & delicious fresh cakes are a special & welcome touch.The bar is fabulous too. Looking forward to coming back! Have already recommended it to others! 6-Oct-2024Customer rating:This was my second stay at Hotel Beethoven. It’s a lovely, quirky hotel, right in the city centre but in a quiet side street. It’s a perfect location for sightseeing and you can walk to most places easily. The rooms are quiet and comfortable with lovely bathrooms and the staff are friendly and helpful. A welcome touch for a weary tourist is the daily free tea, coffee and cake served every afternoon in the lounge area. I highly recommend this hotel.

I am used to business hotels so I was disappointed that there was no one to help with luggage and that the hotel has one small elevator that half of the time was taken by housekeeping staff and we had to wait further. On the plus side, the location is exceptional, the breakfast was exceptional, the front desk staff was exceptional especially in making dinner recommendations and reservations. The room was of average size but well laid out (junior suite). I would recommend this hotel for travellers on budget as an exceptional choice in Vienna but I would probably pick a higher star hotel next time. It really seemed to me as a 3 star hotel not 4 star hotel.

9-Sep-2024Customer rating:I recently stayed at Hotel Beethoven, and I was thoroughly impressed with every aspect of my visit. Staff members were very welcoming and polite. The atmosphere was incredibly calm and relaxing, making it the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle. The location was ideal, conveniently situated near metro station, Naschmarkt, a 10 minutes walk to Vienna State Opera and about 20 minutes to St. Stephen's Cathedral, which made exploring the area easy and enjoyable. The amenities offered everything I needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The breakfast was another highlight, with a great selection of fresh and delicious options to start the day. What truly sets this hotel apart is its unique vibe and quirky charm. It has a character all its own, which made the experience even more memorable. I’ll definitely be returning and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a special place to stay!

19-Jul-2024Customer rating:Literally flew in 1 night for festival and needed somewhere chilled to stay this hotel delivers perfectly down a quiet side road but less than 50 yds to a buzzing foodie street market and a gently stroll upto the bustling ol town it was a perfect location the hotel itself whilst having all mod cons maintains its old Vienna vibe and our room was large cool - which was appreciated as the days we were there it was 33 degrees - and very comfortable staff were great and although we did not take advantage of their bar it had very sophisticated cool vibe we would definitely recommend Hotel Beethoven and would choose it again if we next visit the beautiful city of Vienna C & L

The location is perfect for a long walk through the best of historic Vienna as well as the business district and the various palaces and hideaways of the House of Austria.

The room was cosy but modern and well appointed. The breakfasts were delicious and plentiful but the best thing about the hotel was the staff who were very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. We would not hesitate to recommend the Hotel Beethoven Wien. PS Leopoldo the dog was beautiful too!

10-Jan-2024Customer rating:Stayed at Hotel Beethoven in October - my second time staying in this delightful hotel and hopefully not the last. Very conveniently located - close to museums, music venues, and restaurants, but tucked sufficiently back from main roads to ensure nighttime quiet. The rooms are cleverly and attractively furnished, with comfortable beds and nice bathrooms. Staff are always cordial and happy to help guests with recommendations, directions, etc. An excellent and cost-effective choice when staying in Vienna. I will be back!

5-Jan-2024Customer rating:This charming hotel was perfect for our 6 night stay in Vienna. The artistic-themed rooms were unique and lovely. The location is central enough that we could walk to just about every museum and site we wanted to see, with a few exceptions. The staff were very friendly and accomodating. We ate the hotel breakfast one morning and found it to be abundant and delicious. I highly recommend Hotel Beethoven and we will stay there again on our next visit to Vienna.
